This one is for our fellow perfectionists. Those of us who were raised as girls and women, know how easy it is to fall into perfectionism, constantly equating our worth with how “perfect” we can appear to be. This is Part 2 of our conversation with Somatic Life Coach María-Victoria Albina who will help us break through these perfectionistic thinking and reclaim our authenticity.
You will learn...
- what happens in the nervous system of a perfectionist
- why women, eldest daughters especially, often exhibit signs of people-pleasing, codependency, and perfectionism and how it gets passed down through generations
- how perfectionism might be related to IBS and other digestion issues?!?!?!?
- tools to help you snap out of perfectionistic thinking
We hope this episode inspires you to choose PRESENCE > PERFECTION.

This episode is supported by Big Heart Tea, my favorite certified-organic tea, wrapped in sustainable packaging made from plants (not plastics), and produced with the utmost regard for the farmers who grow it. I love Big Heart Tea because their company is female-founded and mission-driven. Their Farmers Collection is a growing line of intentionally-sourced, direct trade teas, which you can really taste with every sip. I'm currently drinking their signature Cup of Sunshine herbal blend which is great for the afternoon when you don't want caffeine.
